This natural evolution sits at the heart of our design philosophy, influencing every decision from the materials we choose to the way each product is completely handmade. Every cut, stitch, and finish is completed with patience and intention, never rushed or mass produced.

We have spent countless hours researching, trialling, and experimenting with leathers sourced from around the world in order to select the very best hides for each product we create. Each leather is chosen not only for its appearance, but for how it feels in the hand, how it performs with daily use, and the character it develops over time. Below is some more information about the different leathers we use and what makes each one unique.

Utility Covers

Pitch Black, Espresso & Brown/Natural

Our Utility Covers combine two carefully selected leathers within each colourway — a foundational hide that forms the core of the piece, paired with a complementary accent leather that adds contrast, depth, and character.

The foundation hides are tanned locally in Australia using Australian cattle, celebrating locally sourced material and traditional tanning methods.

The accent leather used in our Espresso and Pitch Black editions is a full vegetable-tanned leather sourced from a renowned tannery in Italy, selected for its refined finish, depth of colour, and exceptional ageing qualities. It features a softly textured, lightly waxed surface that burnishes beautifully with use, developing a rich, varied patina over time and revealing lighter undertones at points of wear for a lived-in, evolving character. It truly is one of a kind.

The Natural option is also full vegetable-tanned, left in its undyed state to showcase the raw character of the hide. It will gradually develop a warm, organic patina over time. It features a smoother, more refined surface and has been lightly conditioned prior to construction to support the leather’s natural ageing process, encourage an even patina, and provide a subtle level of resistance to water marks and everyday wear — without compromising its natural look or feel.

Slimline Pouches

Natural, Brown & Black

Our Slimline Pouches are available in carefully selected full-grain vegetable-tanned leathers, each chosen for its exceptional quality and ability to develop a rich character with age. As natural materials, these leathers gradually soften and mould to their contents through use, creating a more personalised feel while preserving the integrity and craftsmanship of the piece.

The coloured options are crafted from a premium Italian leather renowned for its rich texture, velvety matte finish, and remarkable patina. With use, the surface gradually burnishes and deepens in tone, revealing a unique character shaped by its owner.

For those who appreciate the beauty of leather in its purest form, we also offer a natural undyed vegetable-tanned leather. Beginning with a light, natural appearance, it gradually darkens through exposure to sunlight, handling, and daily use, creating a patina that is entirely unique to its owner. Before construction, each hide is nourished with a carefully selected blend of premium leather conditioners to support the leather’s natural ageing process. This preparation provides added protection against moisture and everyday wear while encouraging the development of a rich, even patina. The result is a leather that matures gracefully, taking on warm golden tones and a character that becomes more distinctive with every year of use.

Australian Full-Grain Leather

Premium full-grain leather sourced from locally raised Australian cattle and tanned in Australia.

By choosing Australian-made leather, we are able to support local farmers, tanneries, and small businesses while celebrating the exceptional quality of materials produced close to home.

This leather is selected for its exceptional strength, character, and longevity, offering a refined yet durable surface well suited to everyday use. As a full-grain leather, it retains the natural structure of the hide, showcasing subtle grain variation, veining, and individual markings unique to each piece. These natural features are not corrected or concealed, but preserved as signatures of a genuine, minimally altered material — a reflection of its origin and authenticity.

Signature Colours

Available in three signature colours, each selected to highlight a different expression of the leather.

Molasses
A deep, warm brown inspired by rich caramel and dark chocolate tones. It carries a natural depth that develops further character and richness over time.

Black
Timeless and versatile, Black offers a clean, understated finish with a refined and contemporary edge.

Tan
