Postage and handling
At Tabb & Tannin we want to do everything in our power to make sure your order arrives safely and as quickly as possible. Please read the following information about our postage and handling process and contact us with any additional questions.
Order processing timeline
In-stock orders are aimed to be shipped 1-3 business days after payment has been received. Generally, most orders are shipped within 24 hours of being placed.
Packaging
We are proud of our handmade products and want to ensure they arrive in the same condition they left our studio. All leather items include a custom dust bag and come gift wrapped as standard.
Postage and delivery costs
Australia (domestic)
We offer free regular shipping on all domestic orders with the option to upgrade to express for a flat $10 fee.
International
We ship to most countries with a flat rate of $20 AUD. Should you experience any issues during checkout, please contact us for support.
Import duties and taxes
When ordering from outside Australia, please be aware that your parcel may be subject to import duties, customs fees, tariffs, or taxes imposed by the government of your destination country.
We understand that these additional costs can be frustrating, and we genuinely wish we could make them disappear. Unfortunately, they are outside our control, and as a small business, we simply cannot absorb these extra costs on behalf of our customers while continuing to keep our own prices fair and sustainable for the effort we put in.
What we can do however, is be as transparent as possible with our customers on these fees from the outset and make sure these charges are covered before your order is shipped. To do this, we use an automated tool at checkout to help us calculate, display and charge the applicable import duties and taxes before you place your order.
These charges are not set by us. They are determined by the laws, customs regulations and international trade policies of the country your order is being shipped to. Government policies and tariff arrangements can change, sometimes with little notice, meaning charges that apply today may differ from those that applied when you last ordered.
